This award is more about dedication than speed. Each season there are about 60 club workouts and in 1998 you had to come to at least 20 of them to earn the award. To make sure the award remains meaningful the number of workouts needed to get the award is increased as the club gets larger.
The runners who display the most commitment to their running are awared the driven award. In addition, several special awards are handed out. The awards are handed out at the annual Incline Club party held the first Thursday (August 24 in 2006) after the Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon.
