Very nice race with an approximately 1,300 foot ascent on the volcano itself (in a little over 2 miles). Since I live at near sea level, I walked most of it (and huffed-and-puffed), but had a great time. Lovely weather and good workout. Only 19 participants this year; second annual race. A good race to check out for next year.
