Mount Evans is a close alternative to running Pikes Peak , you share the road with Cyclists and its open 24/7..I would hope all the IC Runners will continue their training goals with clear air and respect to fire fighting efforts in the Pikes Peak region ..I hope the Barr Trail Mountain Race as well as the Pikes Peak Marathon and 2012 Ascent to be uninterupted during this very trying time for our community..theres many alternatives to just running at Pikes Peak =)
