Sunday the 21st is UP the Barr Trail as far as works for you. All trail reports are coming back great with only a few sections on the way to the top presenting any problems. Obstacles really because they are not much of a problem! On that note, we WILL move the long runs to ELK park starting NEXT weekend (not this weekend)!!! If you do not have your Peak Pass give them a call at (719) 684-2644. As always do not forget to mention Friends of the Peak so they can get a $5 donation to help with trail maintenance etc. This is the Peak Pass list I have. Again please let me know if you are not on the list. I think some of you have done this so sorry if I did not get you on the list just send it to me again... Kevin A # 1 Matt C # 2 Terrie A # 3 Matt V # 4 Keith G # 11 Larry T # 13 Carol S # 19 Cindy O # 20 Glen A # 24 Jeff # 29 Kevin C #36 Robert R #FP37 Laura #44 Gary H #47 Kent W#60 Matt H #61 Rick H #81 ************ Well last weekend, thanks to the GOG 10 mile race, only 6 people showed for the long run our lowest # in a long, long time especially since we have had several with 20 or more people! Also this marked the end to Glen As dominance of the Long Run board:-) However I will be missing tomorrow and Sunday so I will be surrendering both workout boards one back to Glen A and the other to Robert R:-( If someone could take the time to write down who shows up for the next two workouts I will update the Incline Club page thanks. ************ Speaking of the Incline Club, club member Cate T who works for the Denver Post had a story in todays paper about Skyrunning. I just wanted to say I meant what I said in the article when I said about our group People dont have to be the same speed we all push each other in different ways. Each of us at our own level hopefully wants to push themselves a little bit farther. I know I am running better because of all of you and I thank you for coming out!!! You can read Cates story here: http://www.denverpost.com/life/life.htm or if you do not get to it before they update the site it is archived here: http://www.skyrunner.com/story/sky_dp.htm She said she would put a link to the web site in the paper version so hopefully we may even get some more people out! ************ See you next Thursday for the INCLINE!!! Go out hard, when it hurts speed up... Matt Carpenter http://www.skyrunner.com
