Tomorrow, Thursday the 13th, we will be doing a 1.25 mile time trial from
the start of the race to Hydro street to get our pacing down. If you want to
join the fun, be at the start line at 5:30pm warmed up and READY TO GO! We
will be acting like the start goes off at 5:30 so if you are late you miss
it!!! After that will be four pickups on Hydro Street and a cool-down back
to the race start. We can also do a little Q/A session if anyone would like
to ask any ?s or offer any advice. Tilt, game over — hit the reset
button — lets get this thing done with!!!

For obvious reasons there will be no club long run on Sunday:-)

The 29 club T-shirt slogans have been narrowed to just 5. Please take the
time to cast your final vote for winning slogan, logo, design and rather or
not you want the shirts broken out by Incline time. Five clicks and you are
out — it should not take more than 1 to 2 minutes IF that!!! I will not
make it a forced deal to stay on the club e-mail list because with over 65
people now on it that would take too much to track who votes and who does
not. Besides I set it up so that you can vote anonymously:-)

A very fast runner is moving into town to start his new teaching job. Ladd
McClain (right now living in Boulder) is looking for a house or room in a
house (as in roommate situation) in the vicinity of Cheyenne Mt. Junior High
(2-5miles) but compatibility (ie:non-smoker, etc) are important as well. His
price range of $400 per month may also have him considering options farther
than the 2-5 miles but he would like to have good access to trail running.
If you, or someone you know is looking for a roommate or something along
these lines please let me know and I will pass it on to Ladd. I met Ladd
while in Italy and he is very nice and very passionate about his running —
I think it would be really neat if we could help a fellow runner find a
place to live!

Good luck to all Saturday and Sunday! Run smart and run your race!

Go out hard, when it hurts speed up...
