****Workout change notice****

This Thursday and every Thursday until it gets too dark (mid October) will
be the Incline. This will allow a couple more chances at some all-time PRs!

This Sunday the 20th we will be using the Pony Express race around Rampart
Reservoir as our long run. The race starts at 8am and costs only $9 for
non-PPRR members. Race day registration ONLY!!!

Directions to Rampart Reservoir:
Drive Highway 24 west to Woodland Park. Take Rampart Range Road (the road
behind McDonald’s in Woodland Park) and head north. There will be a fork in
the road — take Loy Gulch Road (right hand fork). Drive to the Rainbow Gulch
(left side of the road). That parking area will be our staging area.

Incline Club Pizza Party

I want to thank the 30 people who came to the pre Imogene Pass Run pizza
party last Thursday. Everyone who showed managed a door prize of either a
FILA T-shirt or hat with a few Gatorade towels thrown in for good measure.
10 large pizzas and anything that didn’t move got downed by the group. As
predicated Glen A took home the $$$ in the “winner take all” pool tournament
after he went undefeated for the night! Most of the night he was claiming he
was not going to enter the tournament. However we noticed something rather
odd halfway through the tournament: I only have five chalks for my cues yet
whenever Glenn was chalking there were still 5 chalks on the table. Mr. “I
don’t think I’ll play” had brought his own chalk!!! Linda R and Yovonne F
were the stars of the dance to Tracy Chapman’s “Give Me One Reason.”
There were several unconfirmed reports of a blue Smurf??? The following 14
people and 1 dog got awards for coming to 20 or more workouts over the
course of the year.

Total workouts before the party = 64

Matt C 57
