For those that get your e-mail at work this is to let you know there was a run yesterday;-) Sorry about getting this out on a Saturday instead of during the week like normal. Tomorrow Sunday, March 14th 8 a.m. meet by the Incline Run up to Barr Camp and then over to the Severy Creek Trail intersection on Elk Park Trail and back then head back down. 3:00 to 4:00 depending on speed. **** Carol Sauceda sent me this Peak Pass update: Passes are available: $80 for a Family pass and $50 for an Individual pass. Passes are good for one year from date of purchase. The Family pass may include members of your immediate family that live with you, which pretty much applies to Mom, Dad, & kids. Passes may be purchased at the Tollgate or at Crystal Reservoir Currently, the tollgate opens at 9 AM and closes at 3 PM. Ph# for information: 385-PEAK (385-7325), Select Option#5 to speak with Gateway or Ranger Staff. **** www post: 3/7/99 For the 4th time in a row 31 people and 4 K9s came out. This time it was much more like Winter. Those that ventured beyond the Waldo Canyon loop were greeted by the incredible feeling of popping out above the clouds. It got downright warm up there! Also for about 1 and 1/2 miles on Longs Ranch Road we were treated to the site of a perfect set of mountain lion tracks. The wind was blowing and the snow had just stopped falling so they must have been very new! On the other end of the scale there was almost no snow on the water pipe bridge loop. Finally there are only 2 people left with perfect long run streaks because two people ended their streaks at 14. Cisco remains at the top and can truly be called the top dog.
