Sunday, April 25th 8 a.m. meet by the Fountain on Spring Street 1/4 mile
down Ruxton from the COG RR depot.
Run up to Barr Camp and then over to the Severy Creek Trail intersection on
Elk Park Trail and back then head back down. 3:00 to 4:00 depending on
speed.

****
Just a reminder to not park anywhere between Winter Street and Hydro Street.
Although there are a few spots next to the Depot that belong to the city
please do not use them. Be kind and rewind — I mean be kind and let the
tourist have them. This is one of only 3 club rules (the other two being no
running on the COG tracks and when crossing HWY 24 going to and from the
Waldo loop do so in a straight line — do not take tangents). Violators will
have all their stars removed:-O

4/18/99 34 people came out for another long run today. This was the first
time there were NO DOGS! Most of the group ran out the Ute Indian trail and
then did the Waldo Canyon loop. Some then went up Longs Ranch Road. Glen A
brought muffins to share and the sun tried to make an appearance to keep us
warm.

4/15/99 18 people did 30 minutes of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy up the Barr
Trail. The weather today was a lot more like winter than most of the weather
during winter. As always the Hydro Street hill repeats were very
competitive!

Also I forgot to post this one in the mail last week...

4/8/99 22 people and a dog showed up for the first Thursday run of the
season. The Incline greeted us with its usual “in your face” hello and
reminded us that it is still the boss. 3 people however managed to start the
year off by beating their PRs from last year; Tim E, Jay N and Louise E.
Louise managed to shave almost 5 minutes off her time!
