Thursday, April 29th 5:30 p.m. meet by the Fountain on Spring Street 1/4
mile down Ruxton from the COG RR depot.
30 minutes of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy from Hydro Street up the Barr
Trail. Run back down and then do four to six Hydro Street hill repeats.

Sunday, May 2nd 8 a.m. meet by the Fountain on Spring Street 1/4 mile down
Ruxton from the COG RR depot.
Go out the Ute Indian Trail and at the “T” take a right down the service
road. Look both ways and cross Hwy 24 and then run the Waldo Canyon loop
clockwise. Look both ways and cross back over the highway and head up Longs
Ranch Road until you meet up with the Barr Trail at No Name Creek. Then head
UP the Barr Trail for about 100 meters and turn left and head out to the
water pipe bridge. Do not cross the bridge but head UP the road until it
turns into a narrow trail. This will connect back into the Barr Trail. Run
down the Barr Trail back to the parking area. 3 to 4 hours depending on
speed. Note: if the snow is bad we will shorten the run to stay within the
3-4 hour range.

WWW Post:
4/25/99 25 people and 4 dogs ran in the deep stuff today. Most turned around
at No Name Creek but a few forged on to Barr Camp. Of those of us who turned
back some got our time in by running up to the Cave of the Winds while
others just called it a day and are waiting for summer to come back.

4/22/99 A cold, rainy, snowy mess of a day kept the group to 12. Those of us
that showed took the conditions in stride as we did a 30 minute tempo run up
the Barr Trail from Hydro Street. At the start it was raining but at least
there was no snow on the ground. However by No Name Creek the snow was
dumping and adding to the over 1 foot deep accumulation from the night
before - an amazing difference in such a short distance.
