Subject: Incline Club V3 TH #13 LR #32
I have incomplete data on who ran last Sunday. Please let me know if you
belong on this list. I heard from a few that it was a mess and that people
were meeting at different times. Several people felt it too hot to start at
8 a.m. and others wanted to run Elk Park. This combined with the fact that a
bunch of us were up in Aspen either running or helping at the race left a
couple of people thinking that they had come to the wrong spot.
I am really sorry for this confusion. I have been racing and unable to keep
up with things. However, the club is VERY important to me and I assure you
that things will get back to just the regular level of confusion. To those
of you that showed to find no one there I send an extra apology!

Thanks to Tim A for sending the following:
I perused the Sailin Shoes results, scanning quickly for familiar names. I
think most of us ran slower than we thought we would, but here goes:
6 1/37 MATT VON THUN 33 0:35:08.1
8 2/72 THOMAS SANTA MARIA 35 0:35:14.5
14 3/72 TIM ALLISON 38 0:36:56.1
21 1/53 DON ROSS 54 0:38:29.8
30 4/71 AL DELAROCHE 45 0:39:34.4 (Im not sure if he is a member,
but I used to see him on the peak)
42 5/71 LARRY MILLER 49 0:41:15.1
1 1/29 AMY GIBLIN 28 0:38:11.7

A big thanks to all of the Incline Club members who supported the US Fila
SkyMarathon and Half SkyMarathon. Those who werent running, were
recruited as volunteers! Ladd McClain was recording finish times along with
visiting Sherpa Zambu. Lynn Hellenga was also recruited after her 1/2
marathon finish to record marathon finish times along with husband Gary who
didnt run as he was recovering from a summer time bug of sorts. I think
that Bev Zimmermann is an incline participant and while husband Eck ran, Bev
helped out at the start/10.5 mile aid station.
After the race, Bart Yasso from Runners World mag and a visitor to the
Incline Club Sunday run last year said, Gee Nance, there were some great
times turned in today from the Springs. I bet lots of those runners are
inspired by the Incline Club...
Our next US Skyrunning Circuit race is the Vail Hill Climb this
Saturday...hope to see you there:)
Cheers,
Nancy Hobbs
