Bikes allowed on Pikes Peak Highway!!!
As I mentioned last Thursday the highway is doing a test with bike traffic.
They originally planned this for the week of the 23rd but it has been moved
to this week Aug 16-20!!! Bikes will be allowed from 6am 10am from
Crystal Reservoir and up. They have a nice little list of rules (buddy
system, single file etc.) but it has never been done before so I guess they
are just being safe.
