Subject: Great job ICers!!!!
Wow, another super year! A complete Incline Club Pikes Peak (and Leadville) wrap-up will come in a separate e-mail but I need to get some of this out now!
####
I have been asked by Larry Miller to send out the following request for the
TCR. If you ran in the second wave of the ascent please send Larry your
name, bib# and your time. The TCR knows there is a problem with the 2nd wave
times being 10 or so minutes too fast. If enough of you send in your time
they can come up with an accurate minuets/seconds number to add back on to
the whole wave. Please send that info to Larry at (e-mail address removed for www posting).
####
One of the more consistent comments I get about the skyrunner website every
year is how helpful the things done right, things done wrong stories are
from we ICers. Though it is not required PLEASE take a few moments and fill
out the following about your PPA/M and send it back:

WHAT:
The annual Incline Club party!!!
*** Food & Drink
*** Hanging out and yacking with other like minded crazies
*** Perhaps a milk or some other food challenge or 2, or 3
*** Club awards to those that made 30 or more workouts
WHEN:
This Thursday the 23th from 5:30pm till ???!
WHO:
This is not an exclusive party! Dont feel like you did not come to enough
workouts or whatever just come. Also feel free to bring friends,
significant others, non significant others etc. No one will be turned away!
Also dont stay home just because you would be late or have to leave early.
No pets please. Party counts for a * for all who come. If you are
concerned about *"s please check the workout boards to see if yours are up
to date!
WHAT TO BRING:
-- We will be having Dominos Pizza as the main dish. The cost of the Pizza
will be split among all those that show. Please bring $5 preferably in
ones. The last two times it worked out to $3 each but we will probably go
for 4 or the whole 5 this year because many wanted more pizza last year.
-- If your *last* name is in the A-H range bring dessert; ice cream, brownies, cookies etc. If your last name is in the I-P range bring something to drink; softdrinks, juices, etc. If your last name is in the Q-Z range bring something to snack on; chips, pretzels, etc.
-- If you are one of those sick types that likes to watch others make fools of themselves bring your betting money for any food challenges that may happen. Jonathon C is an easy bet but for that matter Matt C, and Rick H have not won either!
WHERE:
The party is at Matt and Yvonnes house at 36 El Paso Blvd in Manitou
Springs. To get there turn off of Manitou Avenue onto Beckers Lane. Beckers
Lane is the main entry way into the Garden of the Gods Park from the West
it is the street that the GOG Trading Post is on. For those that the GOG and
Trading Post mean nothing take HWY 24 to the main Manitou Springs exit
(#141) and head EAST (away from Pikes Peak) on Manitou Avenue. The first
stoplight you come to is Beckers Lane. Once on Beckers Lane the first
cross-street you will come to is El Paso Blvd. You will know you are there
if at this intersection you see two baseball fields on your right. Our house
is across from the outfield of the first baseball field. This means you will
take a right on El Paso and we are on the corner of El Paso Blvd and Via
Linda Vista. It is the far East Townhome again that is 36 El Paso Blvd.
If you need further instructions call us at 685-5654 The preferred parking
place will be in the parking spots at the baseball field where you can walk
just a couple hundred yards to our house. Parking can also be done along El
Paso Blvd next to the baseball fields. People do it all the time during
games so I see no cause for concern here.
IMPORTANT:
If you know someone who ran with us that is e-mail impaired please pass this
invitation on to them!
