A reminder for this Sunday, March 10, 2002
First Annual Colorado College Running Clinic
The clinic, a fund raiser for the Colorado College cross country and
track teams, will feature Runners World columnist Jeff Galloway,
Stretching author Bob Anderson, US Olympic Triathlon coach Michelle
Blessing, and mountain runner Matt Carpenter.
Its a great way to raise some funds for the team, as well as reach out
to the community, says CC Head Coach Ted Castaneda.
Registration pick-up begins at noon on the 10th, will the talks
scheduled from 1:00 p.m. till around 6:00 p.m.
The speakers will be covering a variety of topics, including: how to
create an injury-free training program, motivational tips, alternative
training suggestions, nutrition for runners, stretching to stay
injury-free, as well as Matts talk on his skyrunning adventures and
trail running tips.
The registration cost for the clinic is $47, with special discounts for
high school students and coaches (Call Ted Castaneda at 719-389-6483 for

Directions:
Take I-25 to Uintah exit.
Exit heading east on Uintah
Turn south on Cascade Avenue
At the first opportunity to turn left, do so and park in the diagonal spots
The large, gray, box building next to the parking lot in Tutt Library and
Palmer Hall is just east, an old, stone building.
Enter Palmer Hall through the east entrance and go up to the second floor.
Follow the signs to the clinic!
