Subject: Advice from the top runners from 2002

Hi,

I am contacting you because you ran 30 or more IC long runs this year. As
you may know the club is getting down right big. We had 93 and 89 for our
first two runs this year. For me, and I am sure others, this means lots of
people who we do not have a clue as to who they are. I was thinking about
adding to the club site “about me” pages where for example on the Sunday *
board you could click on a runner’s name and their page would come up.

If you are a past or current member of the PPRR this would be like their
“spotlight, meet so and so” page and in fact I used it as a guide. The main
difference would be that all the “about me” pages would be accessible at any
time and would be owner updateable. I have put up a sample page of questions
(link obsolete - pages are active) and was hoping you could take a brief look
to see if there is anything that you can think of that I should add to the
list. This whole thing will be database driven (read: no work involved
(other than photos) once the setup is done:-) so it is important that I get
it somewhat close the first time around so I don’t have to do a lot of extra
coding.

General comments on the idea are also welcome! Remember the goal is to
learn about a fellow runner and to have some fun.

Thanks for being a part of the Incline Club:-)
