Subject: Incline Club V8 TH #18 LR #37 Hi ICers,

Taper Time!
Its time to start cutting things back in our training:-) We have made it! From here on out you can actually do more harm than good by continuing to train hard. To that end, please note that I don’t recommend anymore bottom to top runs or even the 321. A 3,1 would be a good compromise and the Elk Park Run is also a great option.

Call to Arms!
The Barr Trail needs some work done to it in the upcoming weeks. In a nutshell, the persistent rains as of late combined with the last two big storms (yesterday’s was unreal!) have done some damage to the lower sections of the trail. Saturday the 14th would be a key day! But any day you could work would be great. Let me know. Tools will be supplied.

Auction for a Pikes Peak Marathon entry!!!
Paul Sullivan has authorized with the Triple Crown of Running the auction of a Pikes Peak Marathon entry. This is NOT for the Ascent and this is NOT a transfer of a number but a spot that was set aside for an auction. Bidding begins today and ends next Thursday the 12th. 75% of the proceeds go the Incline Club and 25% to Team CRUD. Pass this on please! http://www.inclineclub.com/auction.htm

####
Barr Camp Water update:
Still NO water at Barr Camp! However, the new system is at Barr Camp awaiting approval. Currently it is being reviewed by the Pueblo Health Department. There is also a rumor running around that those training for the Ascent or Marathon are allowed to get water at Barr Camp. This is NOT true so please remember to bring your own fluids or money to buy Gatorade!
