Subject: Incline Club: Need R reports, Katrina
Hi there ICers,
I have been working on compiling the final *s and R reports for the season. If you have not done so PLEASE submit your R report ( http://www.inclineclub.com/rreports.htm) for the PPA/M/D so you will get credit for your race. Also, if you went to the Incline Club Party please skim down the Thursday list and see if you recognize anyone who was there who did not get signed in. The list was not too easy to find with all the food and drink that was there distracting everyone. Indeed, another 22 pizzas were polished off:-) In addition to the 26 people who got an IC award for coming to 45 or more IC workouts, Vicki Martin won the Driven Award for the females. Chaz Lalonde won the Driven Award for the males. Harry Harcrow won the ICUltra Award. All three of these runners went above and beyond the normal club runs to take their running to a new level!
However, the main reason I write is to send out the following letter:

I know the Incline Club is officially in the off season BUT I am putting together a plan to get old shoes down to New Orleans and any other areas (Mississippi) that need help. Starting Tuesday, CRC will be collecting shoes (running and non-running) that are in decent shape to send/take to the area. We will also be accepting cash donations to cover shipping and/or gas costs. I have made contact with Kristen at Varsity Running in Baton Rouge as a contact point. They just got power back Wednesday night and they are overwhelmed with the need for stuff. I just feel that we can do something.
