Trail Conditions
Several of you emailed in your trail reports (thank you). The snow is melting rapidly, and so I’ll just post the most current report from Michael Everson who summited on Memorial Day:

“Snow was relatively easy to deal with all the way to about 2 mile sign with some snow between Bottomless Pit sign and A-Frame. From 2 mile sign the trail is sporadic, but a few have broken it, so you can find it. You can basically stay on trail to the top of golden stairs. Post holing is an issue, but not bad (I wore running shoes with no screws or other gripping gear). Once there, it’s hard to find until you are about 50-100 yards from summit. Overall, considering the winter, not bad!”

It’s our last feedbag of the season (*sniff, sniff*). If your first name starts with D through S please bring some food this Sunday. This is a large number of folks, so the eatin’ should be good. Enjoy!
