Subject: Incline Club News V16 LR #11 — Anti-Bowl Run
Good Evening Incline Club!
It’s great to see so many IC’ers out there enjoying the nice weather this past weekend. Both at Winter Series II and then again for the Sunday run. Other than a small snopocolypse that is scheduled to hit Thursday evening, we should have some good weather again for this weekend’s club run.

NEXT RUN: Waldo Loop

Sunday, Feb 5, 8:00am — Memorial Park
Run out the Ute Pass Trail and take a right and head over to do the Waldo Canyon loop in the clockwise direction (More sun/less ice on the trip down). Return via the UPT. 2-3 hours, if it would be longer do an out/back

Anti-Bowl Run

The word on the trail is that a group of IC’ers who have totally lost their minds will be running up to Barr Camp during the SuperBowl on Sunday, departing from the Barr Trail lot at around 4:30 or so. (Bring headlamps, screw shoes and a misguided sense of adventure.)

For Sunday, it is looking cold at the start with about 20 deg. But it should quickly warm up to the upper 30’s. A good way to start the day before you go and watch a bunch of commercials while eating custard.

This week, Felicity rocks her way through a half marathon. Everybody else was a slacker (except for those who ran Winter Series II, now if only you would tell us about it, because I know a ton of you were there...)

Goal: no goal......running w/a friend for moral support
Results: 3:24
General Summary:
very well organized race...much better than previous rock’n’roll in Las Vegas in December..
Weather perfect for running..overcast and approx degrees
Things Done Right:
good pace for first timer
Things Done Wrong:
can’t think of anything
Any Other Stuff:
would definitely recommend it to others. good course for a first timer.
