Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Texas, Western Colorado, Chicago (briefly). I've lived in Colorado Springs since I was 16. I'm now a Manitou Springs resident.

When I started running and what got me started:
Started out with a sprint triathlon in 2006. My first foot race was Summer Roundup 2009. I was hooked!

What does running mean to me:
Peace. Quiet. A literal connection with the earth.

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
Improved on my Summer Roundup time by 13 minutes from 2009 to 2010. 2012 PPA was a 19 minute PR.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
I love having to engage my brain in where to put my feet. That, and the scenery :)

Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I read. A lot.
