What I do for work:
I work at REI in Colorado Springs
Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I have also lived in the Las Vegas area before I came to my senses and moved to Colorado.
When I started running and what got me started:
I started running in Junior High although it was Coach Millers idea at the time. Looking back on it it was a true blessing.
What does running mean to me:
Running the trails is my escape from the stress of everyday life.
What I like about trail/mountain running:
The freedom, the diversity and the challenge.
Favorite running trail and why:
My home turf is the Mt. Herman Open Space up here in Monument. There are miles and miles of single tracks that helps to keep things fresh.
Neatest thing found on a run:
I enjoy finding snakes sunning themselves on the trail early in the morning. Adds a little spice to the day.
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I dislike drive throughs and self checkout.
Other hobbies and interests:
Fly Fishing, hiking, backpacking, really good espresso and time with friends.
