I'm a proud native. Born in Pueblo and raised Colorado Springs.
When I started running and what got me started:
In 1984, some friends talked me into running Garden of the Gods 10 mile race. I've been hooked ever since then.
What does running mean to me:
Freedom and a chance to clear my mind and be outdoors.

Just being able get out and run feels like an accomplishment lately
because I've had some set backs with injuries the last couple of years.
What I like about trail/mountain running:
No traffic and car exhaust just people out enjoying the outdoors.
