When you seen the sun rise from Pikes Peak or the Garden how could you live anywhere else?!!

When I started running and what got me started:
Turning 30 got me started!

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
6 marathons, including Pikes Peak Marathon and Boston! Assorted half marathons and other road and trail races.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
You never do know what the mountain will give you no matter how many times you've run the same trail.

Favorite running trail and why:
Section 16 because after the super hard up you get to cruise. Or the Garden because it's always different and it's where I learned to run hills!

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Pikes Peak Marathon - I was terrified of the race and it ended up that I absolutely LOVED it - even with the snow at the top!

Best running experience:
Grandma's Marathon 2007 - my unbelievable PR and Boston Qualifier - Grandma's was my first marathon too!

Neatest thing found on a run:
Peace of mind and good friends.
