When I started running and what got me started:
Started running in 1997, because I needed a goal to stay in shape and decided to run a marathon.

What does running mean to me:
Time by myself, stress relief.

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
Finishing 15 marathons, including Pikes Peak.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Enjoying the mountains, fresh air.

Favorite running trail and why:
Santa Fe trail, Barr trail, Gold camp road. Anywhere in the mountains

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
American Discovery Trail Marathon. Well organized and local!

Best running experience:
Pueblo River Trail, 1998. First marathon

Worst running experience:
Pikes Peak Marathon. The downhill killed my knees.

Running related bathroom stop story:
I was doing a long run in Beijing, China early in the morning when I suddenly got "runner's trots". Nothing was open and there are no woods in Beijing! I ended up ducking behind a small bush.

Hoping to qualify for the Boston this year (2010).
