When I started running and what got me started:
I started running about a year ago - divorce is what got me started - a way to pass the time and a good time to think.
What does running mean to me:
A time to relax and enjoy myself, a break from everything else (no cleaning, no work, no kids...) it is great!!
Running accomplishments:
I have completed 2 marathons (Phoenix Rock and Roll and Big Sur) and 4 half marathons in a year!!
What I like about trail/mountain running:
The scenery, the smell of fresh air, the challenge, the fact that it can change from day to day, it is outside not on a treadmill. I could go on and on and on...
Favorite running trail and why:
Rampart - nice distance, high altitude, challenging and pretty.
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
The Golden Leaf Classic in Aspen - it is GORGEOUS!!
