Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
I'm an Army brat who has lived everywhere. I discovered Colorado in 2001 and this is the only place I have called "home".
When I started running and what got me started:
When I was 13 because my parents ran.
What does running mean to me:
Running is a lifestlye. I'm just not myself when I'm not running. It also means being able to out-eat Brian and all his friends. :)
Running accomplishments:
I consider it an accomplishment anytime I finish a run. My most recent race was the St. George Marathon. It rained the whole 26.2...I felt like a badass! A very cold, wet badass!
What I like about trail/mountain running:
The scenery and the clean, thin air.
Favorite running trail and why:
I love Waldo Canyon because of the amazing view.
Neatest thing found on a run:
I've never found anything but i did lose my car key on Barr trail.
Running pet peeves:
Chafing!
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I'm a knitter.
Other hobbies and interests:
Triathlon, hiking, climbing, painting, yoga, knitting.
Other stuff:
My goals are to qualify for the Boston Marathon, do the Pikes Peak Ascent, run with the Incline Club, and do an Ultra!
