Running accomplishments:
Better health than without...that's enough for me.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
I love the high that comes when I catch a second wind, when the smell of the trees, the sound of the creek, and soft soil/pine needles underfoot... It is profound!

Favorite running trail and why:
Section 16 (counter-clockwise): torture followed by a delightful loping pace down the trail (there's a soft/moist spot on the trail, right before crossing the creek that sets me free!)

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
I haven't raced.

Best running experience:
Actually, best trail experience: topping first 14'er (Challenger and Kit Carson)

Worst running experience:
Helping a friend at the 1976 Pikes Peak Marathon, and hearing of the Big Thompson flood/deaths at the finish line...

Being overtaken without a verbal announcement/warning
