City: Colorado Springs State: CO

Favorite Shoe: Brooks Cascadia Size: 9

What I do for work:
Youth Development Program Manager - I get to do outdoor recreation with underserved and at-risk youth.

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Colorado Springs, Boulder, Denver. It doesn't get much better than Colorado!

When I started running and what got me started:
I ran track in middle school and remained an occasional, casual jogger for many years until discovering trail running in college in Boulder. THAT is when I feel I really starting running.

Running accomplishments:
Planning to be a successful Ascent finisher very soon!

What I like about trail/mountain running:
I get bored on flat, smooth roads. Trail running keeps me engaged and interested. It is like snowboarding in the sense that I have to pay attention in order to choose my best path so I can go faster without falling down!

Favorite running trail and why:
So many to choose from but I find myself quite often in Palmer Park. Great trail system in a mid-city oasis.

Other hobbies and interests:
Gardening, cooking, snowboarding, reading, and music.
