Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Everywhere!! The list it to long, but I haven't found another town even close to the Springs.

When I started running and what got me started:
Early 20's after realizing that I couldn't commit to a gym membership longer than two months.

What does running mean to me:
Freedom and the challenge of getting a better every time I run.

Finished last years PPM.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
The rare times that I find myself breathing I notice some of the most amazing views, angles of the sun, etc. Can't be copied just enjoyed.

Favorite running trail and why:
A little trail in Cascade, after the steeps the trail is enjoyable and its me against the bears. In two years I only ran into three people.

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Barr Camp!! A real fun run with racers and support.

Best running experience:
Crossing the line before 6 hours.

Worst running experience:
Three-way tie:
Crossing the line after 7 hours.
Turning around 1/2 mile from the summit in 2001 and running back to town.

Neatest thing found on a run:
A wallet, no reward.

Running related bathroom stop story:
I thought it just happened to me.

Running pet peeves:
Runners passing me uphill not breathing!!

Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
Tough call.

Other hobbies and interests:
Windsurfing, big kites, skiing, home-remodeling.
